I think you might have been the subject of what Duchamp did. Lead others down the wrong alley ( his statements about his work and his sister) . The Machine might be a fraud. or his use of it. You cannot know. if his poetry were a ‘fraud’, then his ‘method’ might be also.

Michael,

You are correct in saying that machine does not ‘need’ wheels. You can understand my resultant confusion, then, upon discovering said wheels. Ashbery, it seems, intentionally limited the Machine’s locomotive capabilities. Don’t ask me why.

I believed everything until the mention of The Machine’s wheels.

I mean, puhlease. Do some research before writing awesome-dope articles like this. Everyone knows The Machine doesn’t have wheels. Why in the world would it need wheels? It teleports itself, didn’t you know?
