James Kaelan’s We’re Getting On

We’re Getting On is also the focus of the most innovative marketing campaign since low-fat foods: the ZERO EMISSION BOOK PROJECT!
The Essentials:
1) We’re Getting On first editions are 100% green, recycled, and super-post-consumer. The interiors are 100% recycled paper. The covers are made of seed paper that, upon being buried, will germinate and grow into spruce trees. That’s right! This book offsets its own carbon footprint 10X over.
2) The Zero Emission Book Tour will begin on July 2nd, 2010 and will cover more than 20 West Coast Cities in 8 weeks, and will be done by BIKE! Author, James Kaelan, will be powering his way up the west coast and delivering readings at a bookstore near you, provided you live in California, Oregon, Washington, or southwestern Canada.
3) After much deliberation, Flatmancrooked begins this project with no sponsorship or outside support. This is a grassroots project with a host of very amazing volunteers and we aim to prove to the literary community that indie publishing is a force to be reckoned with.
