On Monday, January 26th, at 7:30PM, Joe Wenderoth and Chris “Whitey” Erickson will be doing some sort of reading for the Sacramento Poetry Center at the Headquarters for the Arts (1719 25th St., Sacramento, CA). We’d forgotten that this was even going down, so the fmC editors will be as surprised by the content as you all.
My grandmother was from Oklahoma and she used to say, “Elijah, some people are just plain crazy.” According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 26 percent of Americans suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder, but only a fraction of those people—about six percent—are unemployed or considered disabled.
